Abstract

Pan-Africanism has played a significant role in African foreign policy for decades, with Zimbabwe as an important case study. The analysis draws from existing literature, academic conferences, and secondary data sources relevant to African foreign policy studies. A key finding is the resurgence of Pan-Africanist sentiments among young Zambian political activists, with a notable increase in public support for pan-African causes over recent years. The review underscores the need for further research into how Zimbabwean policymakers can leverage Pan-Africanism to address domestic and regional challenges effectively. Policymakers should prioritise inclusive dialogue platforms that foster understanding of Pan-African values, while also fostering economic integration within the continent.
