Abstract

This study examines entrepreneurship ecosystems and innovation hubs in East Africa, with a specific focus on Chad. A comparative case study approach was employed, involving qualitative interviews and document review from various stakeholders in the entrepreneurship sector in Chad. Findings indicate that while there are nascent innovation hubs, significant challenges related to funding and regulatory frameworks hinder their growth and impact on local economies. The comparative analysis highlights the importance of supportive government policies and collaborative efforts among private sectors for enhancing these ecosystems. Recommendations include fostering public-private partnerships, increasing access to finance through innovative models, and implementing streamlined regulatory environments.
