Abstract
Afrofuturism is a contemporary cultural movement that explores Afrocentric visions of the future and challenges Eurocentric narratives. Theoretical synthesis of existing Afrofuturist literature and scholarly discussions. The framework identifies key directions for future research on Afrofuturism within the field of African Studies. Promote interdisciplinary dialogue between scholars of Africana studies and futurists to enrich theoretical understandings.
