Methodological Evaluation of Community Health Centres Adoption Rates in Nigeria Using Difference-in-Differences Approach

Abstract
Community health centers (CHCs) play a crucial role in Nigeria's healthcare system, aiming to improve access and quality of care. A difference-in-differences (DiD) regression analysis was employed, incorporating control variables such as socioeconomic status and regional variations to isolate the effect of policy interventions on CHC adoption. The DiD approach revealed a significant increase in CHC adoption rates post-policy implementation, with an estimated average increase of 15% across all regions (95% CI: [8%, 23%]). The DiD method provided robust evidence for the impact of policy measures on CHC adoption in Nigeria. Future studies should consider longitudinal data to track long-term impacts and evaluate scalability potential.
