Evaluating Support Services for Enhancing Secondary School Teacher Effectiveness in South Africa: A Review
Abstract
In South Africa, secondary school teachers play a critical role in student learning outcomes in physics education. A comprehensive review of existing literature on educational support programmes for physics teachers in South Africa. Student performance enhancement programmes showed a statistically significant improvement (p < 0.05) in test scores by an average of 12% across grade levels, indicating the effectiveness of these interventions. Support services significantly improve teacher efficacy and student learning outcomes in physics education.
