Abstract
Migrant communities in Southern Africa, particularly those from South Sudan, face significant cultural challenges upon relocation to new environments. Theoretical synthesis and qualitative analysis of existing literature on migration studies, cultural adaptation theories, and resilience frameworks. The theoretical framework underscores the critical role of supportive social structures in enabling migrant communities to navigate cultural transitions effectively, thereby enhancing their overall well-being. Policy makers are advised to prioritise the development of culturally sensitive services and community-based initiatives to support migrant integration processes.
