Abstract

Pan-Africanism has been a significant concept in African Studies, with Kenya playing a pivotal role in its contemporary manifestation. A qualitative analysis of existing literature on Pan-Africanism in Kenya, focusing on scholarly articles and policy documents from recent years. The analysis reveals a predominantly positive trend towards pan-African unity but also identifies significant disparities in economic development across regions. While Kenya's integration into the African Union has provided opportunities for regional collaboration, persistent socio-economic inequalities hinder full realization of Pan-African ideals. Policy makers should prioritise equitable resource distribution to ensure inclusive growth and foster a stronger sense of unity among Kenyan communities.
