Abstract

E-learning platforms have been increasingly adopted in higher education to enhance learning experiences and accessibility. A systematic approach was employed to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant literature from databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Studies were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria related to the use of e-learning platforms by students in Ghana and their satisfaction levels with these tools. Findings indicate that among university students using e-learning platforms, there is a significant positive correlation between usage frequency and reported satisfaction (r = 0.78, p < .05). The review underscores the importance of understanding student perceptions to optimise e-learning platform design for physics education in Ghana. Institutions should consider incorporating more interactive features into their e-learning platforms to further enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
