Abstract

Online mental health platforms have emerged as a promising tool for addressing the growing demand for psychological support in schools globally, particularly in resource-limited settings such as Ethiopia. This study will employ a mixed-methods approach integrating qualitative interviews with school administrators and teachers, along with quantitative surveys of students to gauge usage patterns and perceived benefits. This study aims to contribute to the growing body of research on online mental health interventions by providing a comprehensive framework for their development and assessment within African educational contexts. Recommendations include prioritising user-friendly interfaces, ensuring robust technical support systems, and engaging parents in monitoring students' use of these platforms.
