Challenges and Opportunities in Psychological Practice Post-Conflict Eritrea: An African Perspective

Abstract

Post-conflict Eritrea faces significant psychological challenges as it navigates societal recovery and integration. A qualitative thematic analysis of existing literature and expert interviews to inform the perspectives piece. The psychological sector in post-conflict Eritrea is ripe for development but requires tailored strategies addressing resource scarcity and cultural sensitivity. Prioritise training programmes targeting local communities to build capacity and foster sustainable mental health services.
