Abstract
Policy formulation in postcolonial Africa often grapples with complex psychological dynamics that influence societal structures and individual behaviors. Theoretical synthesis and qualitative analysis of existing literature from psychology and postcolonial studies. This theoretical framework underscores the significance of integrating psychological perspectives into policy-making processes to enhance effectiveness and inclusivity. Future research should further explore specific mechanisms through which cultural identities impact Nigerian policies, potentially leading to more culturally sensitive interventions.
