Forensic Psychological Foundations in Nigerian Criminal Behaviour Analysis

Abstract

Forensic Psychology in Nigeria seeks to understand psychological factors underlying criminal behaviour. This article employs conceptual analysis and qualitative synthesis of existing literature to develop a comprehensive theoretical model. The theoretical framework elucidates psychological mechanisms and risk factors associated with crime in Nigeria, providing a foundation for future empirical research and public policy development. Develop targeted interventions addressing socio-economic disparities, focusing on early intervention strategies to reduce criminal reoffending.
