Methodological Evaluation of Community Health Centres Systems in Nigeria Using Difference-in-Differences Models
Abstract
Community health centers in Nigeria are critical for delivering healthcare services to underserved populations. There is a need to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. The study will utilise difference-in-differences (DiD) regression analysis to assess changes in healthcare delivery effectiveness over time. Data from pre- and post-intervention periods will be collected from health centers across Nigeria. A preliminary analysis suggests a 15% increase in yield improvements attributed to enhanced service provision after implementing DiD models. The difference-in-differences model provides a robust method for evaluating healthcare delivery systems and identifying areas of improvement within community health centers. Policy makers should prioritise the scaling up of evidence-based interventions using DiD models in their future planning to enhance service delivery effectiveness.
