Abstract
Morocco's higher education landscape includes a significant number of African universities that play pivotal roles in knowledge production and dissemination, particularly within the field of African Studies. Theoretical synthesis grounded in existing literature, including academic studies and policy documents focused on higher education systems in Africa and their impact on social development. The theoretical framework underscores the importance of fostering collaborative networks between African universities and local communities to enhance knowledge production and dissemination effectively. Developing specific policy mechanisms aimed at incentivizing interdisciplinary research collaborations among Moroccan universities could significantly contribute to a more vibrant academic environment.
