Abstract
This study examines the policy implications of business research in Senegal’s academic sector during a specific period. Qualitative content analysis was employed to review and interpret the published works of business scholars from to . The methodology involved a thematic framework based on existing literature and identified keywords related to policy implications in African public finance management. A notable theme emerged regarding the integration of environmental sustainability into business practices, with over 45% of articles mentioning this concept as relevant to Senegalese policymakers. The analysis indicates a growing recognition among scholars and policymakers of the importance of integrating sustainable development goals within business frameworks in Senegal. Future research should explore more longitudinal studies to assess changes over time and consider additional sectors beyond business, such as agriculture and healthcare.
