Abstract

Madagascar's agricultural sector is highly vulnerable to climate shocks, impacting food security and economic stability. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative analysis of existing data. Supply chains showed significant variability in their ability to cope with drought and flooding, with some showing adaptive capacity up to 30% Enhanced supply chain resilience can significantly improve agricultural sector sustainability under climate stress. Implement targeted support for smallholder farmers and invest in infrastructure that enhances water management and crop diversification.
