Abstract

Sustainable tourism business models have become increasingly important in Tanzania's tourism industry to mitigate environmental degradation and social imbalances. No empirical results are provided; instead, the study employs a qualitative approach to analyse existing literature and conceptualize sustainable tourism business models. This theoretical framework provides foundational insights into the design and implementation of sustainable tourism business models to support long-term growth and sustainability in Tanzanian contexts. Future research should conduct empirical studies to validate these theoretical propositions, with a focus on pilot projects that incorporate community engagement and environmental stewardship strategies.
