Abstract
Music plays a significant role in political expression during transitions in Burkina Faso. An ethnographic approach was employed, involving participant observation and interviews with musicians and political activists. The role of music in fostering dialogue between different factions within Burkina Faso’s political landscape is highlighted. Further research should focus on how music can be harnessed to promote inclusive governance and social cohesion.
