Abstract
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) aims to create a single market for goods and services within Africa, with Comoros being one of its member states. The analysis will draw from existing literature and economic theories to develop a conceptual model for understanding the effects of the AfCFTA on supply chain integration. The theoretical framework provides a foundation for future research into the practical implications of the AfCFTA on Southern Africa’s regional supply chains. Further empirical studies should be conducted to validate the model and explore specific mechanisms within Comoros' context.
