Abstract
Afrofuturism is a conceptual framework that explores visions of Africa's future through cultural and imaginative expressions. The analysis will draw from existing literature on Afrofuturism and contemporary African studies, focusing on cultural productions and policy dialogues related to future-oriented thought in Gambia. Afrofuturism offers valuable insights into envisioning and achieving sustainable development pathways in Gambia by integrating cultural expressions with technological advancements. Policy makers should consider incorporating Afrofuturist perspectives in their planning processes, particularly focusing on digital inclusion strategies to promote equitable socio-economic progress.
