Abstract

Aging women in Lagos, Nigeria face unique social challenges due to cultural norms, economic pressures, and family structures. Theoretical synthesis approach with literature review and expert consultations. A robust theoretical framework highlighting the critical role of social support in enhancing health outcomes and caregiver satisfaction among aging women in Lagos. Policy makers should prioritise initiatives that strengthen community-based care networks to improve elderly women's quality of life.
