Abstract

The review focuses on regional economic blocs in Africa, specifically Djibouti, and aims to synthesize existing research. No empirical results are presented; instead, the review synthesizes literature on regional economic blocs in Djibouti and other comparable studies. The findings highlight the varying degrees of integration across different blocs, with some demonstrating higher levels of cooperation than others. This synthesis underscores the importance of understanding regional dynamics for effective policy-making and economic development in Africa. Further comparative research is recommended to identify best practices and potential areas for improvement within African regional economic blocs.
