Abstract

This study examines the digital divide in rural communities of Egypt through a theoretical lens, focusing on how digital inclusion can be enhanced to bridge this gap. Not applicable as it is a theoretical framework article. The theoretical framework provides a robust foundation for understanding digital inclusion challenges and offers innovative policy recommendations that can be implemented to improve access and usage across rural communities. Specific recommendations include investing in community-led internet infrastructure projects, providing affordable devices, and developing tailored educational programmes focused on digital literacy among rural populations.
