Abstract

Digital literacy is a critical skill in contemporary education, yet disparities exist between urban and rural areas of Ghana, particularly affecting primary school children from underprivileged backgrounds. Not applicable This theoretical framework provides a robust conceptual basis for the design of future empirical studies focused on enhancing digital literacy within urban primary school settings in Ghana. Future research should prioritise the development of culturally responsive digital literacy programmes, incorporating feedback from educators and community members to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
