Morocco’s conflict zones present a complex landscape of economic activities that intersect with ongoing socio-political tensions. A qualitative approach involving semi-structured interviews with business leaders and stakeholders from affected areas to explore experiences and challenges. Businesses reported significant financial losses (averaging 30% annually) due to insecurity and supply chain disruptions, highlighting the critical need for robust security measures and diversified sourcing strategies. The ethical perils in Moroccan conflict zones are multifaceted, affecting not only profitability but also compliance with international business ethics standards. Addressing these issues requires a comprehensive approach from both businesses and regulatory bodies. Implement transparent and secure supply chains, enhance security protocols, engage local communities for sustainable development, and advocate for improved legal frameworks to protect business interests in conflict zones.
