Abstract

Eswatini's health systems have faced significant challenges in responding to epidemics, necessitating a resilience assessment. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative analysis of health data from the Ministry of Health. Health sector resilience was notably enhanced by rapid deployment of telemedicine services, improving access to care in remote areas (85% reported improvement). Eswatini's experience highlights the critical role of technology and community engagement in epidemic response. Develop a comprehensive telehealth strategy and strengthen community health networks for improved future resilience. Health Systems Resilience, Epidemic Response, Eswatini, Telemedicine
