Abstract

Community health centres (CHCs) in Uganda have been established to improve healthcare access in rural areas. A meta-analysis was conducted, synthesizing data from various studies on CHCs in Uganda. Time-series forecasting models were applied to forecast future trends based on historical data. The analysis revealed a 15% decrease in healthcare delivery inefficiencies over the study period, with significant variability observed across different regions. The use of time-series forecasting models provided valuable insights into reducing CHCs’ operational risks. Future research should focus on improving data quality and model robustness. Enhanced training for staff and investment in technology to support data collection are recommended to improve the effectiveness of CHCs. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
