Abstract

Maternal health outcomes in urban Kenyan clinics have been a subject of interest for researchers aiming to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. Data was collected from clinic records, analysed using logistic regression models with robust standard errors to account for potential confounders. Analysis revealed a significant difference (\(OR = 1\).25; 95% CI: 1.04-1.48) in maternal complications between male and female patients at the clinics. Gender-specific healthcare interventions are needed to address disparities observed. Clinics should implement gender-sensitive protocols to improve maternal health outcomes.
