Abstract

Legal services in rural health centers are crucial for older adults in Ghanaian communities. A mixed-methods approach using surveys, interviews, and document analysis was employed to evaluate service availability and user behaviour. The proportion of older adults utilising legal services at rural health centers varied significantly between health centers, with a notable gap in accessibility due to geographical barriers. Rural health centers need strategic improvements to enhance the provision and utilization of legal services for older adults. Implementing telemedicine solutions and enhancing community outreach programmes are recommended to improve access.
