Abstract

This study examines gender dynamics within Cameroon's political transitions, a critical area of African Studies. Qualitative methods were employed through literature review and expert interviews to explore the intersection of gender and political power dynamics. A notable finding is the underrepresentation of women in decision-making bodies during recent transitions, reflecting broader societal norms. The analysis highlights the need for inclusive policies that address gender disparities in political participation. Recommendations include promoting gender equality initiatives and increasing female representation in leadership roles to foster more equitable governance.
