Abstract
Biogas digesters are a sustainable energy source for rural households in Togo, offering both environmental and economic benefits. Not applicable as this is a theoretical framework article. The adoption process involves multiple factors including economic incentives and community support networks. Policy makers should consider subsidizing biogas digesters to increase their uptake among smallholder farmers in Togo.
