Abstract
The Ethiopian education system underwent significant reforms in the early 2000s aimed at improving access and quality. A qualitative study based on interviews with educators, analysis of school documents, and focus group discussions. Despite positive policy directions, uneven implementation hindered the intended educational improvements across Ethiopia’s diverse regions. Investment in regional-specific support mechanisms is crucial to ensure equitable access to quality education for all students.
