Abstract

Traditional biomass energy plays a significant role in Ethiopia's diverse energy landscape, contributing to both rural livelihoods and urban consumption patterns. This theoretical framework underscores the importance of integrating traditional biomass into broader energy transition strategies in Ethiopia, emphasising its role in achieving sustainable development goals. Policy makers should prioritise investments in research and development for efficient biomass conversion technologies to support the integration of traditional sources with modern renewable energy systems. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
