Abstract

The Methodological Scrutiny of Secondary School Systems in Tanzania aims to evaluate the efficacy of randomized field trials in measuring adoption rates within the Tanzanian secondary school education system. The methodology section will outline the design, implementation, and analysis plan for the randomized field trial, incorporating statistical models such as logistic regression to measure the probability of intervention adoption among schools. The conclusion will summarize the findings, emphasising the importance of randomized field trials in accurately measuring educational intervention outcomes in Tanzania's secondary school systems. Recommendations include the adoption of a standardised data collection protocol to ensure consistent measurements across all schools and the implementation of targeted support strategies for low-adoption schools. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
