Investor Confidence and Regulatory Framework in Egypt’s Energy Sector Investment Climate: A Theoretical Exploration

Abstract
Investor confidence plays a critical role in shaping the investment climate within Egypt’s energy sector, where regulatory frameworks are essential for attracting private sector participation. Not applicable as this is a theoretical framework article focusing on conceptual development rather than empirical data collection. This theoretical exploration underscores the importance of a stable and transparent regulatory framework for fostering long-term private investment in Egypt’s energy sector. Policy makers are encouraged to implement more predictable regulations that align with international best practices, thereby enhancing investor confidence and stabilising the investment climate. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
