Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is increasingly recognised as a critical component of business operations in various global contexts. The research employs a mixed-method approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis of publicly available company reports and government databases. A notable finding is that approximately 70% of MNCs in Angola have established CSR programmes, with environmental protection being the most prevalent theme across sectors. The study underscores the growing importance of CSR for MNCs operating in Angola, highlighting both challenges and opportunities for sustainable development. Given the significant adoption of CSR by MNCs in Angola, there is a need to develop more targeted regulatory frameworks that encourage comprehensive social impact assessments.
