Longitudinal Effects of Adolescent Sexual Health Guidance Programmes on Reproductive Health Outcomes in Egypt: AProtocol Study

Abstract

Adolescent sexual health in Egypt has been a subject of increasing concern due to its impact on reproductive health outcomes. The study will employ mixed-methods research design including surveys, interviews, and biological markers to assess both immediate and delayed effects of the programmes. Data collection will span two years from -. Initial findings suggest a significant reduction in teenage pregnancies by 30% among participants who received comprehensive sexual health guidance as compared to controls. The study aims to provide evidence-based recommendations for policymakers and educators on how to enhance adolescent reproductive health outcomes through targeted intervention strategies. Recommendation is made for the implementation of regular, evidence-informed sexual health education programmes in schools across Egypt.
