Abstract

Urban primary care networks in Ethiopia face challenges in delivering quality healthcare services efficiently. A comprehensive search strategy was employed across multiple databases including PubMed and Embase. Inclusion criteria included studies using quasi-experimental designs with primary care data from Ethiopia. The review identified a trend towards the use of multivariate regression models ($\beta = 0.85 \pm 0.12$) to measure clinical outcomes, highlighting the need for standardised modelling approaches. Quasi-experimental designs offer valuable insights into improving primary care in Ethiopia but require further validation and standardization. Standardised protocols should be developed and implemented to ensure consistent application of quasi-experimental methods.
