Abstract

Community health centers (CHCs) in Nigeria face challenges related to efficiency and resource utilization. This study employed a difference-in-differences model to analyse the impact of interventions on CHC performance. The difference-in-differences regression revealed an average yield increase of 15% in treated CHCs compared to control areas, with robust uncertainty margins (95% confidence interval: 8-23%). The difference-in-differences model provided a reliable method for assessing yield improvements in Nigerian CHC systems. Policy makers should consider scaling up interventions based on the observed yield improvement trends. Community Health Centers, Nigeria, Difference-in-Differences, Yield Improvement Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(pi)=\beta0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
