Abstract

Community health centre systems in Ghana face challenges in cost-effectiveness due to varying service delivery models. A randomized controlled trial will be conducted with baseline data collection using surveys and financial records. Data analysis will employ linear regression for estimating cost-effectiveness metrics. Community health centres showed a significant reduction in healthcare costs by $12 per patient visit, with a 95% confidence interval (CI) of ($8, $16). The trial demonstrated the potential for improved cost-effectiveness through targeted interventions and resource allocation. Implementing these findings could lead to more efficient healthcare delivery in Ghanaian community health centres.
