Abstract

Afrofuturism is a theoretical framework that explores African futures through an intersection of African cultural heritage and futuristic perspectives. No empirical data is collected or analysed; instead, the theoretical framework of Afrofuturism is applied to analyse and interpret existing literature and cultural artifacts from Cameroon. Theoretical insights suggest that incorporating Afrofuturist perspectives can enhance understanding of complex socio-cultural dynamics in contemporary Africa. Policy makers should consider integrating Afrofuturism into development strategies to better anticipate and address future challenges in Cameroon.
