Abstract

Community health centers in Senegal are pivotal for delivering healthcare services to underserved populations. However, their effectiveness and efficiency vary significantly, necessitating a methodological evaluation. A randomized controlled trial was conducted across three regions in Senegal. Participants were randomly assigned to either continue with existing services or receive comprehensive training on new operational protocols designed for the clinics. The preliminary results indicate a significant increase (p < 0.05) of 20% in patient satisfaction rates among those who received the training, suggesting improved service quality and accessibility. This study provides empirical evidence on the impact of operational enhancements on community health centre performance in Senegal. Based on these findings, immediate implementation of the recommended protocols should be considered for further research and policy development to enhance healthcare delivery in Senegal. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
