Abstract
Recent political transitions in Nigeria have highlighted significant gender dynamics influencing power structures within the country. A thematic analysis was employed to synthesize existing literature on gender-inclusive approaches to governance and their impact on political stability and development in Nigeria. Themes emerging from the reviewed works include a discernible trend towards more inclusive political processes, though with significant disparities persisting across different regions of Nigeria. While there is growing recognition of the importance of gender inclusivity in Nigerian politics, substantial challenges remain regarding equitable representation and policy implementation. Further research should focus on developing comprehensive strategies to address persistent gender biases and promote inclusive governance models in Nigeria.
