Abstract
Ghanaian African philosophy has undergone significant changes post-colonially, influenced by global intellectual movements and local cultural shifts. An action research approach was employed, involving interviews with scholars and practitioners from various academic disciplines to gather insights into philosophical developments over a decade. Themes of cultural reclamation and integration emerged prominently in the evolving Ghanaian African philosophy, with notable efforts towards reconciling traditional values with contemporary challenges. The research underscores the resilience and adaptability of Ghanaian African philosophy as it navigates post-colonial contexts, highlighting its role in fostering national identity and social cohesion. Further interdisciplinary studies should be encouraged to deepen understanding of philosophical trends and their implications for societal development.
