Methodological Evaluation of Community Health Centres Adoption Rates in Nigeria Using Difference-in-Differences Approach: An Analytical Study

Community health centers in Nigeria play a crucial role in healthcare delivery, especially in underserved areas. However, their adoption rates vary significantly across different regions and over time. A difference-in-differences model was employed to analyse pre- and post-intervention data from selected communities. The DiD framework accounts for potential confounders by comparing changes within and between treatment groups over time. The analysis revealed a significant increase in adoption rates, with a 25% higher adoption rate observed in intervention areas compared to controls after the implementation of supportive policies. The DiD model effectively captured the impact of policy interventions on community health centre adoptions, providing robust evidence for future policy development and resource allocation decisions. Further research should explore the long-term sustainability of these centres and identify additional factors contributing to adoption rates beyond policy support.
