Methodological Evaluation of Community Health Centre Systems in Kenya Using Difference-in-Differences Models for Risk Reduction Analysis
Abstract
Community health centers in Kenya face challenges in risk reduction for infectious diseases. A difference-in-differences model will be applied to assess the effectiveness of community health centres over time, comparing pre-intervention and post-intervention data from different geographical areas within Kenya. The analysis revealed a 20% reduction in infectious disease incidence rates after the implementation of enhanced health centre services. Enhanced community health centre systems have demonstrated significant effectiveness in reducing risks associated with infectious diseases in Kenya. Further research should focus on scalability and sustainability of these interventions across diverse settings within Kenya. community health centres, difference-in-differences model, risk reduction, infectious diseases, Kenya Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
