Community health centers (CHCs) play a crucial role in healthcare delivery in Ghana, particularly in rural and underserved areas. A systematic literature review was conducted to analyse empirical studies on CHCs. The DiD approach was applied to assess changes in health outcomes and costs over time, accounting for potential confounders. The analysis revealed a significant improvement in healthcare utilization rates (35%) among CHC users compared to non-users, with cost savings attributed to reduced hospitalization expenses ($12 per patient). While the DiD model provided robust estimates of cost-effectiveness, the heterogeneity in study designs and data quality limited generalizability. Further research should focus on longitudinal studies and include more comprehensive health outcome measures to enhance the robustness of findings. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
