Methodological Evaluation of Maternal Care Facilities in Rwanda: A Randomized Field Trial on Clinical Outcomes Assessment

Abstract
Maternal care facilities in Rwanda are crucial for ensuring safe pregnancy outcomes, yet their effectiveness varies. This study aims to evaluate these facilities through a randomized field trial. A randomized field trial was conducted in two districts of Rwanda, with 100 participants randomly assigned to each facility. Key indicators included maternal health status post-delivery. The analysis revealed a significant difference ($p < 0.05$) in the success rate of deliveries between facilities A and B (82% vs. 69%). Facility A demonstrated superior clinical outcomes, warranting further investigation into its practices. Investigate why facility A outperforms B to inform policy changes aimed at improving maternal health care in Rwanda.
