Abstract

This Perspective Piece examines the impact of climate change on human security in Morocco's Sahel region from to . A qualitative approach was employed through interviews with local farmers, community leaders, and healthcare providers in selected villages across the Sahel region. The Sahelian communities have faced significant challenges in adapting to climate-induced changes, highlighting the need for more robust support systems and integrated policies that address both immediate needs and long-term resilience building. Investment should be prioritised in early warning systems, water management infrastructure, and community-based health initiatives. Enhanced collaboration between national and local authorities is essential for effective policy implementation.
