Abstract

Community health centers in Kenya are pivotal for addressing healthcare needs, particularly in underserved areas. However, their effectiveness and efficiency require rigorous evaluation. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative interviews was employed. Data were collected from to , including patient records and staff satisfaction surveys. The quasi-experimental design demonstrated a significant reduction in healthcare-seeking times by 45% (95% CI: -58% to -32%) compared to pre-intervention levels. Staff reported increased job satisfaction. The quasi-experimental method proved effective for evaluating community health centre performance, with notable improvements in patient access and staff morale. Further research should focus on scalability and cost-effectiveness of the implemented interventions. Community Health Centers, Quasi-Experimental Design, Risk Reduction, Healthcare Access Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
